The prince, who is married to Tasmanian-born Princess Mary, was seen drunkenly partying at Copenhagen nightclub Simons until 3.30 on Sunday morning, Danish magazine Se og Hor reports.

Video shows the prince embracing the blonde woman while clutching a drink and dancing.

At one point he stumbles and almost falls over.

The owner of the nightclub is trying to track down the person who filmed the prince, who is the heir to the throne of Denmark.

"Whoever this person may be they are not welcome in our club again," Simon Lennet told the Copenhagen Post.

He said he did not know who the woman in the video was.

The couple's twins, whose names have not be made public, are due to be christened on April 14 at the Church of Holmen in Copenhagen.

Frederik has two other children with Mary, five-year-old Prince Christian, and Princess Isabella, born in April 2007.
