The "American Idol" Top 8 performed Songs of the Movies and overall, we found the week a little meh - so who went home?
The Bottom 3 came down to Haley Reinhart, Stefano Langone and Paul McDonald, with Paul tapped as the one who had to leave us this week.
But before we got to the elimination, we had some other highlights:
•Jennifer Lopez came out looking like she's auditioning for Cleopatra in Space.
•Lauren and Scotty performed Lady Antebellum's "American Honey" and it was nice. Lauren handled the girl part with more aplomb than Scotty did the boy part, but he got better as the song went on.
•There was a behind-the-scenes video of the zombie Ford music video, which was actually kinda cool and not annoying, like most of these filler bits.
•Haley and Casey dueted on "Moanin'" and it was pretty awesome. Their voices are very complementary and Haley's hair looked incredible.
•Kelly Clarkson (squeeeee) and Jason Aldean were on hand to perform "Don't You Wanna Stay" and it was lovely. What a wonderful song.
•A mop-top foursome from Liverpool the Soggy Bottom Boys The Folksmen Jacob, James, Paul and Stefano performed "The Sound of Silence"/"Mrs. Robinson" and it was ... yikes. I mean, seriously? Simon and Garfunkel is the call for Gospel, Rocker, Breathy and Broadway? Are you kidding me with this?
•Paul sang us out on our second-favorite performance by him, "Maggie Mae." Fun way to end the night.
Did the right person go home? We think probably for the first time in the Top 13 the right person went home, actually. Though we did love Paul's "Folsom Prison Blues." See you later, weird folk rocker guy.
Yet out of this recent summit, something has emerged on which they all can agree – a preference for controlling markets when it suits them. As the BRICS gain in influence, that thinking could drastically reshape global economic policy. Here's what I mean:
Buried within the usual platitudes about promoting peace and cooperation, the communiqué issued during the summit contains some clues into the BRICS' thinking on one of the most contentious issues facing the world economy today – mitigating the perceived ill-effects of free markets. For example, the BRICS made it clear that they are not necessarily in favor of free financial flows in all circumstances:
Michael Douglas' lawyers blasted the "audacity" of the star's ex-wife in a New York court on Tuesday, April 12, as Diandra Douglas continued her quest to land 50 percent of the actor's salary from the "Wall Street" sequel.
Diandra, who divorced Douglas in 2000, is seeking a share of the actor's pay check from his 2010 movie "Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps". She claims their divorce deal entitled her to half her ex-husband's profits from projects he worked on during their marriage, and any possible "spin-offs" of his previous films, including the original 1987 "Wall Street".
The case was dismissed at Manhattan's Supreme Court in November 2010 after a judge ruled the Big Apple was not the right jurisdiction to hear the case, as the former couple divorced in California. Diandra, who is selling her sprawling California home, vowed to appeal, and she appeared in court on Tuesday to continue fighting her case.
Diandra's legal representative Nancy Chemtob claimed Douglas, who fought cancer in 2010, failed to reveal to court officials that his primary residence is a property in Bedford, New York, an issue which could affect future hearings.
But Chinitz hit back at Chemtob, saying, "The documents are in California. The witnesses are in California. Mr. Douglas is cancer-stricken, tragically, and she has the audacity to imply that we misled the court."
Speaking after the hearing, which Douglas did not attend, Diandra told the New York Daily News, "I've always behaved as a lady and I always intend to do so in the future."
The NBA yesterday fined Kobe Bryant $100,000 for using an anti-gay slur in frustration over a referee’s call Tuesday night. NBA Commissioner David Stern issued a swift disciplinary ruling after the Los Angeles Lakers’ five-time NBA champion guard cursed and used the homophobic slur when referee Bennie Adams called a technical foul on him during the third quarter of a victory over the San Antonio Spurs Tuesday. Bryant said his words came strictly out of anger and shouldn’t have been taken literally . . . The Lakers say center Andrew Bynum’s knee injury isn’t serious and probably won’t keep him out of their playoff opener . . . Pistons’ Charlie Villanueva was suspended for five games without pay including last night’s season ender with Philadelphia for initiating an on-court altercation Monday night with Cleveland’s Ryan Hollins . . . Timberwolves president David Kahn said owner Glen Taylor has assured him he will return next season, but Kahn declined to discuss the job status of coach Kurt Rambis . . . Rock Feller Sorel, a valet at a Miami Beach hotel, has filed a lawsuit against Gloria James, the mother of Heat star LeBron James, seeking more than $15,000 in damages less than a week after claiming she verbally abused and assaulted him while he was working.
An honest investigator of crimes?
Or a criminal trying to confuse us and protect his network?
Alex Jones is typical of investigators in this 9/11 truth movement. Specifically, he has been exposing 9/11 and other crimes for many years. He is an experienced investigator.
This page has some audio and video excerpts of Alex Jones to help you understand that he is trying to shift the blame away from Zionists and onto other people, mainly Americans, but also some British and Chinese. Most of the people in the "truth movement" are doing exactly as he does, so try to understand this technique so that you are not fooled by it.
For a recent example, on 21 September 2007, Alex Jones tries to convince us that the Zionists are actually subservient to other people, such as the Queen of England:

On 30 August 2007, he gives an emotional rant about how he is tired of these criminals ruling over us, but listen to who the criminals are:

A pivotal welterweight bout is beginning to take shape.
John Howard and Martin Kampmann are expected to meet one another at an upcoming event under the UFC banner. While both men at one point or another stood above the rest in their class as top contenders, they have since descended to the bottom of the barrel as both men are currently riding two-fight win streaks heading into their bout.
Interestingly enough, the main-event of the evening will pit Anthony Johnson against Nate Marquardt–two men that both Howard and Kampmann are far too familiar with.
Howard was last seen in action at UFC 124 this past December when he met with former title challenger Thiago Alves. The Brazilian striker was able to secure a unanimous decision win over Howard, how was unable to match Alves power-for-power, especially when it came down to the crippling leg kicks landed by the American Top Team product coupled with his ever improving takedowns, which ultimately lead him to the win. The loss extended the two-fight skid which began with a third-round TKO loss to budding contender Jake Ellenberger which came due to a severely swollen eye that left Howard unable to continue.
Kampmann meanwhile is also the victim of misfortune. After emerging as one of the top contenders in the division with a split-decision win over former WEC welterweight champion Carlos Condit (upon the Greg Jackson’s debut within the promotion) he has since been unable to find proper footing in the weight-class. A loss to Paul Daley was followed by a two-fight win streak over the likes of Jacob Volkmann and Paulo Thiago, however Kampmann took a huge step back when he succumbed to contentious defeats at the hands of Jake Shields and Diego Sanchez, both of whom took the Xtreme Couture product to debated decision wins.
Both men, though fan-favorites and exciting fighters in their own right, will likely be battling for their jobs come this June, with the loser likely receiving the infamous UFC pink slips.

The ABC sitcom, starring Elisha Cuthbert and Zachary Knighton, centers on a group of pals grappling with life's ups and downs.
Somewhere in the strange algorithm of romantic comedies on television, three has been judged the correct number for maximum laughs. You can splice them up any way you like, but mostly there’s a married couple, a couple on the verge of being engaged, then a pair of people who are single.
Often there is not. But that never discourages writers and producers from trying the formula over and over again.
Which brings us to ABC’s newest sitcom, Happy Endings. No, let’s back track. It actually brings us to this entire network season, with its Perfect Couples on NBC, its Traffic Light on Fox and yes, Happy Endings on the alphabet net. Not to be left out, CBS launched Mad Love but gets extra for focusing primarily on two couples instead of three (but loses those points in that it seems awfully familiar to the BBC series, Gavin & Stacey).
Is four too many? Well, it’s no record. So it could have been worse. And there have been far worse seasons, seeing that Traffic Light is actually quite funny on a regular basis and Mad Love has its moments. (Perfect Couples was awful and an awful waste of talent.)
Happy Endings is neither awful (though at times it seems to aspire to such depths) nor hilarious. The pilot contains a number of funny lines but not enough to encourage you to see the next one. Having done that for you, rest assured that any initial hesitation was your gut telling you it hasn’t gone out of whack. Happy Ending’s subsequent episodes were decidedly less funny than the pilot and quickly deflated any good will those randomly funny one-liners instilled from the pilot.
And yet, if you’re encouraged to continue, here’s the premise, familiar as it may seem: Dave (Zachary Knighton) is on the altar with his bride-to-be, Alex (Elisha Cuthbert), who then decides to run away. This stuns their friends, the inter-racial married couple Brad (Damon Wayans, Jr.) and Jane (Eliza Coupe); and their single friends Penny (Casey Wilson) who is desperate for a relationship and Max (Adam Pally), the smart-aleck gay friend who defies the sitcom stereotype of the super-obvious gay friend.
Cuthbert, best known for being unintentionally hilarious on 24, proves here that she can adequately step into the sitcom universe, though she’s not given much to work with. Knighton is ostensibly the comic of the bunch and gets to milk a lot of sappy stuff about being left at the altar (staying home drinking, etc.). But it ends up being Pally who gets the best lines here, such as they are. Wayans Jr. often serves as Pally’s straight man or sounding board for riffs on relationships, most of which you’ve heard before, except maybe the term “chicksand” instead of “quicksand,” a reference the writers seem to be in love with since they call it back so often.
Look, the occasional funny joke isn’t enough to launch a sitcom anymore. And obviously, with so many other similar romantic comedies on the dial, why bother with one that doesn’t quite measure up? If anything, Happy Endings is a 30- minute endorsement for Traffic Light, a far superior sitcom.
