Meet Ivan Stoiljkovic, an ordinary boy with an extraordinary talent. The 6-year-old from Koprivnica in Northern Croatia appears to be able to stick metal objects to his body. ”I have no problem to hold metal objects, but eventually I get tired,” said Ivan. Six-year-old Ivan Stoiljkovic can hang up to 25kg of metal from his chest, including cutlery, coins and even a non-stick frying pan.

Video of Ivan’s amazing abilities has become an Internet sensation with thousands of people tuning in to watch him stick cutlery, phones and even a frying pan to his bare chest and arms.



In many respects, Ivan Stoiljkovic is much like any other six-year-old boy in his city. He enjoys kicking a ball around in the garden of the home he shares with his family and is learning to play the accordion as a hobby.

His abilities echo the character Magneto, as featured in the X-Men comics and films, a mutant who has the ability to manipulate metals.

Magneto was played by Sir Ian McKellen in the X-men trilogy of films, and will be played by Michael Fassbender in the upcoming prequel “X-Men: First Class.“

Ivan also stands out from the crowd due to his ‘super strength’. He is much stronger than other children his age and is able to easily carry bags of cement as heavy as 50lbs.

And that isn’t the end to Ivan’s unusual talents, his family say Ivan has also used his ‘healing’ hands to alleviate his grandfather’s stomach pains and take away the pain of a neighbour who hurt his leg in a tractor accident.

Ivan’s grandfather swears by the youngster’s unusual talent. “When something hurts us, we ask Ivan to put his hands on the sore and the pain disappears in a flash”, he told The Daily Mail (UK).

Critics of Ivan’s amazing super power might point to the fact that many of the objects sticking to Ivan’s chest and arms appear to simply be resting on his skin, and not actually sticking to him.
