Although the "system-on-chip" with the ARM-architecture now associated mostly with smartphones and tablets, manufacturers of such decisions tend to expand their scope. For example, Qualcomm and NVIDIA really expect to use their SoC in the "big" mobile computers running the operating system, Windows 8 , currently under development in the bowels of Microsoft. In this context, particular interest is the reference site PC World plans to release quad-core Qualcomm's proprietary version of the processor Snapdragon S4, designed specifically for this type of PC.
