Record your Skype audio calls with Skype Recorder MP3

MP3 Skype Recorder is a small freeware looking rather plain, but very useful and very efficient. You guessed the freeware records your audio Skype conversations. After a simple installation and direct MP3 Skype Recorder will fit in the system tray near the clock and wait patiently for your next Skype call. Default MP3 Skype Recorder is launched when Windows starts. You can disable this action in the options. There is also an option to start Skype Recorder MP3 minimized in the system tray. At first use, you must allow the application connection to Skype and possibly allow the application in your firewall.

By default, when you make a call or you answer a call, the recording of the conversation starts automatically by posting a notice on the screen. It also stops automatically at the end of the call. Automatic recording can be enabled or disabled by the context menu by right clicking on the icon of freeware in the notification area. MP3 Recorder can record Skype teleconferencing and simultaneous calls (one active call and the other on hold) in separate sound files.

You can also start or stop recording manually by the user interface buttons. The "Play" button to MP3 Skype Recorder opens the folder that stores audio files in MP3 format. This folder can be selected by the user. The names of audio files consists of the date, time, type of call and the name or number of the party.

Otherwise you can select either monaural, stereo and joint stereo and you can select the bit rate (bit rate). The latter is more, the better the sound quality, but the higher the file size. A bit rate of 32 gives a more than acceptable quality for relatively lightweight files. If necessary, the online help is comprehensive, but in English only. MP3 Skype Recorder requires the runtime .NET Framework 2.0 or later to run.
