Twitter has he been hacked?

The website microbloging Twitter Tuesday, May 8 said it was investigating, to see how names and passwords of tens of thousands of users were able to find published online on the site file sharing Pastebin.com .

Information about approximately 35,000 customer accounts, plus another 20,000 repetitions probable, would have been compromised, according to a message posted on Twitter by her own service. The site states:

After consultation with "Le Nouvel Observateur", the list published on Pastebin (which runs on five documents for over 55,000 usernames and passwords) appeared to contain numerous accounts of spam and incorrect contact details. For now, this disclosure has not been claimed.
