If you are wondering what is the best place in the world for internet connections, look no further. A new report released by Akamai, a provider of Internet content distribution, gives us all these details.The American company has done a search and, for the past four years to see which countries, regions and cities offer the best Internet connections. The company analyzed the capacity of connection bandwidth, and by extension, those with less good possibilities to quickly navigate the web.

It seems that this is South Korea that not only offers the best connections, with an average of 17.5 Mbps, but also the highest peak bandwidth attained by its users, or 47.9 Mbps. At this speed, you can download one HD movie in its entirety in 30 minutes or a song in less than 3 seconds.



Those who are less popular countries like Cuba, Niger and Mali, among others with speeds below 300 Kbps. If we take the example of the same film in high definition, it would take over 30 hours to download.

Canada compares in the U.S. with an average connection of 5.6 Mbps. The same HD movie would take over an hour and a half to download. In fact, Americans and Canadians have just enough bandwidth to download streaming (streaming) of a film in high definition and that if they do not use their internet connection to other more demandantes.
