Amazon launches the application of Cloud Drive for Windows and OS X

After the uproar last week with the release of SkyDrive desktop application and the launch of Google Drive, Amazon seems to also want to join the party and has launched a desktop application for Windows and OS X. Unlike the rest of these services, no doubt inspired by the success of Dropbox and let you synchronize a local folder to the storage in the cloud, Amazon Cloud Drive only acts as a simple shortcut to upload to the cloud, but not synchronize.

That is, it is in the menu bar in the case of Mac and the notification center in the case of Windows and lets us from there and bypassing the browser upload our files. You can also open a new window directly and launch from there. It's no big thing but with 5GB of storage including default Cloud Drive can be a good alternative if you want a little extra storage in the cloud (and we are not lacking options) or to any backup point.
