Chrome OS is updated with a completely renewed interface

After many rumors about what would be Google's operating system and a few rumors since its announcement, the company launched last year in mid Chrome OS, completely focused on the cloud and accompanied by a specific type of notebooks: the Chromebooks. It's no surprise to anyone that the welcome they have received has been very warm, so maybe from the company have taken to perform a thorough facelift to the interface of the whole system.

Chrome OS now looks like something halfway between the launchpad OS X and the overall look of Windows 7, giving a sense of traditional desktop that I think will benefit you a lot. Recall that so far the Chrome OS interface was essentially equal to that of Google Chrome, a browser that behaves as an operating system providing access to various Google tools ecosystem.

The new look is called the Aura, and allows changes to the screen, stacking windows, a task manager and application launcher that you see in the image similar to OS X. Launchpad As a curiosity, and as a sign of how Google and fragmentation on track to reach the epic, the holders of a CR-48, the first computer that supported Chrome OS and served to popularize it, will not support this update, which can be discharged from now on the Dev Channel.
