Larry Page Android is important within Google, but not critical

It seems like every time we neglect Larry Page released a new gem on the technology and the world around Google in general. The last occurred in mid-trial that the company has against Oracle for patent violation of Java in Android, the cofounder of the company:

It's no surprise to anyone that Google's core business, at least the most important thing is not, and probably never will be Android, but rather the pipeline from other sources such as advertising. Now that the company will walk focused on launching the first major Android handset Motorola after acquiring it last summer, the statements are somewhat surprising Page.

Clearly what I can say at trial, under pressure and under a clear interest (if perdiesen Oracle would have to pay a whopping 6000 million dollars) is not as representative than what you can do in an interview or a conference but provides food for thought about the true value within Google Android.

Because although Android is a technological level of the business of the company that cares to talk and anticipation rises, the redituación thereof is not so clear. It might be so, yet wondering much that he said with sincerity, to which Larry Page intended to rely.

Suggests however, or suspect that Google's business plan remains the same and that Android is only one way to get it. Mobile devices are starting to take some of the functions and significance that years ago was relegated solely to the desk and leave aside this market is obviously crazy. In the field of mobile advertising however is that Google is doing better, with efforts like Apple iAd that have ended short of failure.

Anyway, Android is poised to become the most widely used mobile operating system by a large majority of the world, still has several serious problems to contend with as urgent fragmentation and low-paid apps, wait and see strategy and terminals that Google launched in conjunction with Motorola to see a bit more clearly the future of the little green robot.
