Microsoft offers three versions of Windows 8

Redmond's team announced the coming to market versions of its new operating system will be Windows 8, Windows 8 Pro and Windows RT. The official, meanwhile, remains unconfirmed.

The official blog of Microsoft gave more detail than expected Windows 8, if the last World Congress in Barcelona showed the Consumer Preview version now shows the three issues that appear on the market, all of them 'bring together a broad and fluid design, great for a wide range of hardware."



Windows versions 8 and Windows 8 Pro are specific to computers and x86 processor-based tablets (32 and 64 bit). The first will include all the features already known and an updated version of Windows Explorer, Task Manager, an improved multi-monitor support and the option to change the language.

Windows 8 Pro, meanwhile, is designed for "professional and passionate about technology to optimize Windows 8." Thus, in addition to the above features encryption, virtualization management hardware and connectivity domain.

Finally, the Windows edition version of RT is the new operating system for ARM architecture. The latter will be sold exclusively pre-installed on computers and tablets with ARM. Bring an optimized version of Office for touch screens but will not have Windows Media Player.
